Following are easy to use steps to open a new Exactor sales tax compliance account through Adhost. Once you follow the steps to create an account, you will receive credentials to your Account Management Area where you will set up additional account preferences.

Important Note: You will not be able to use the Adhost /Exactor Tax Service until our custom tax calculation code has been added to your Adhost Merchant 6 or CFWebstore shopping cart. If you are planning to use the service, please send mail to Exactor@Adhost.com.

1. Go to: https://adhost.exactor.com/account/signup/application. Complete the following information on the form.

2. Company Information

• Company name, address and zip code
• Federal tax ID (FEIN, for corporations) or social security number (individuals)
• SSTP (Streamlined sales tax) ID if you have one
• State of incorporation (drop down menu)
• Briefly describe the type of business (2 -3 sentences)

3. Contact person: name, address, telephone number, e-mail

4. Log-in information: user name

5. States: check each state where you file sales taxes

6. Pricing related information:

• Average number of sales transactions per year
• Average amount of sales transactions

7. Background information:

• Describe current method of calculating sales tax
• Describe current method of reporting/filing state taxes
• Describe difficulties with current method

8. Payment Information

• Name of bank
• Account Routing Number
• Account number
• Account holders

9. Scope of services

• Calculation
• Generating & filing returns
• Tax payments
• Non Confirmation: NO filing or tax payment services
• SST: Streamline Sales Tax registration

10. Service fee. Quote of fees for services, based upon prior information. (Note: 10% discount for annual pre-payment).

11. Confirmation: Type name; drivers license #; state of issuance; expiration

12. SUBMIT. BY CLICKING SUBMIT – MERCHANT IS APPROVING AND ACCEPTING THE TERMS OF THE AGREEMENT

13. Confirmation e-mail. Confirmation e-mail will be sent with log-in information, account information, and a copy of the final contract.

14. Ongoing tax service: Once your Exactor service is up and running, here is the monthly schedule for tax calculations, filing and service fees:

• 10th of the month: Exactor emails you an invoice with the taxes owing and services fees
• 13th of the month: Funds are electronically transferred from your bank account
